Minimum Requirements

An ABET Level 04 qualification or equivalent.
Knowledge of basic maintenance, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
Familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
Knowledge of the National Building Regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Addressing minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues.
Conducting inspections inside and outside the building and reporting findings to the supervisor.
Assisting in the development of building maintenance schedules.
Logging maintenance calls for necessary repairs.
Assisting with installations that require wall mounting, including assisting with 71 installations.
Repairing broken equipment.
Ensuring the safekeeping of maintenance tools and equipment.
Conducting monthly stocktaking of maintenance supplies and submitting reports.
Performing monthly OHS inspections and reporting results to the supervisor.
Supporting OHS compliance in the building through maintenance assistance.
Monitoring contractors on site to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
