Senwes Administration Officer Job Overview
Senwes is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administration Officer: Centralised Procurement to provide administrative and operational support to the procurement department. The successful candidate will ensure that all procurement processes, from vendor vetting to purchase order creation, are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities
Vendor Vetting and Management
- Request and verify supplier documentation for compliance
- Upload and maintain supplier records on the Vendor Management System
- Manage supplier data and unblock vendors when required
Purchase Order Expediting
- Generate weekly SAP reports for undelivered purchase orders
- Follow up with suppliers and capture updates in SAP
- Ensure on-time delivery confirmation and order accuracy
Purchase Order Creation
- Prepare compliant purchase orders for low-value or emergency purchases
- Verify the accuracy and compliance of all purchase orders
Supplier Sourcing and Management
- Identify and assess potential new suppliers
- Evaluate supplier compliance and capability
Supplier Credit Applications
- Complete and submit supplier credit applications
- Resolve queries with internal and external stakeholders
Administrative Support
- Assist buyers and procurement managers with documentation, filing, and reporting
- Ensure efficient record keeping and support general procurement operations
Senwes Administration Officer Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- National Senior Certificate
- Certificate or Diploma in Office Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field
Experience:
- 1–2 years in a similar administrative or procurement support role (preferred)
Skills:
- SAP or ERP systems experience (advantageous)
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving skills
