General Assistant Jobs: Your Role in the Drive-Thru Yard
As a Drive-Thru Yard General Assistant, your primary objective will be to ensure all customers—including external shoppers, internal staff, and delivery drivers—receive friendly, efficient, and accurate service. You’ll be a key representative of Brights Hardware, maintaining a smooth, organized, and customer-centric operation that encourages repeat business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Exceptional Customer Service: Provide friendly, prompt, and efficient service to all customers, assisting with product information and queries.
- Accurate Loading: Precisely and efficiently load customer vehicles, as well as delivery and transfer trucks.
- Stock Management: Ensure stock is correctly stacked, accurately counted, and assist with stock pulling for transfers.
- Inventory Control: Proactively report any stock shortages or breakages to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Housekeeping Excellence: Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized yard area through consistent sweeping and adherence to high housekeeping standards.
- Material Handling: Assist with the bagging of various materials like stone and sand.
- Stocktakes: Participate actively in perpetual stocktakes to ensure inventory precision.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively both independently and as a vital team member, demonstrating resilience under pressure.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Capably perform any additional work-related tasks as delegated by your superior.
Entry-Level Retail Jobs: What We’re Looking For
