Key Requirements

• Military, police, or private security background.
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment.
• Strong English communication skills (written & verbal).
• Excellent physical fitness and health (PEME compliant).
• Team player with great communication & customer service skills.
• Ability to work in rotating shifts.

Essential Qualifications

• MS Pre-embarkation SOP Training.
• Basic STCW Training (A-VI/1-1,2,3,4).
• Seaman’s Book / Provisional Seaman Book.
• Crowd & Crisis Management and Human Behavior (STCW A-V/2).
• Designated Security Duties (STCW A-VI/6-2) or Ship Security Officer (STCW A-VI/5).
• CVSSA & NFPS.
• Clean criminal record.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Ship Security Plan.
• Monitor ship access points & verify IDs.
• Conduct patrols of public, crew, and restricted areas.
• Maintain visible security presence onboard.
• Safeguard passengers, crew, and ship property.
• Stay alert & vigilant according to shift schedules.
• Respond quickly to emergencies or security breaches.
